PROBABLY THE BIGGEST FREE FESTIVAL IN THE SOUTH WEST
Established in 1996 Exmouth Festival is run by Exmouth Town Council and has been growing year on year. Held on the last May bank holiday each year, on its recently new site The Imperial Recreation Ground, Exmouth Festival is a major event in the county’s cultural calendar. It brings in a huge number of visitors to the town and really puts Exmouth on the map as a place where music, art and culture are nurtured and grown.
Thanks to its origin, Exmouth Festival is highly attuned to the needs and desires of the local people of Exmouth and East Devon. Its Impact on the area is significant, contributing as it does to the social, economic and cultural life of the town.
HELP KEEP OUR FESTIVAL FREE
The day to day running of the Festival itself is down to the commitment and enthusiasm of its volunteers, the Town Council Staff and the excellent companies we have running the stage & sound and our security. Together we keep everyone entertained and safe.
The Festival is primarlily funded by Exmouth Town Council as well as the generous donations from Festival goers in the previous year. We are also incredibly grateful to the following for their generous support this year.
KEEPING IT GREEN
There are things you can do to help keep our beautiful town green and litter free. The Festival has recycling facilities all over the site – please use them to help make sure that your litter isn’t left behind when you leave. You can also help by buying one of our reusable Pint glasses from the bar.
